the baby may be laying on a central nerve ....twitching isn't that uncommon....if it starts to hurt....call your doc

Yep! I had all of that and my arm twitched. Eyes are worse though, especially when you have contacts. I don't know what exactly causes it, my doctor got into this big spiel about hormones and vitamins and blah blah blah. In the end, I asked if it was safe and normal and she said yes. She said she even had to stop doing somethings while she was pregnant from it. (ie like giving shots and drawing blood) They are just annoying. Double check with your doc at next appointment. Take a calcium supplement, your baby's bones are growing fast, and you need more calcium.
Try it, eat two or three TUMS or softchews, and see if it doesn't help.
