july 20 1969. yeah, i think so. though the "shadows" and rippling flag are interesting fuel for a conspiracy, one of the main reasons i think he did is that the USSR, which had great space technology of their own and were the US's sworn enemy, never claimed the US were faking it. if it was good enough for them, it's good enough for me.

Would have been hard to fake in those days, but im very sceptical when it comes to the US. Russia put a man in space invoking the "space race" US were under immense pressure to better that, on comes mr armstrong. The film Capricorn 1 could have been a hint as to what really happened. Don't think we'll ever know, another thing is, what was the point? we haven't really done much since, i was hoping for a holiday on the moon by now. Nevermind, think i'll stick to Wales

Yes they did. I was in the military at the time, on watch in the radio compartment. We turned one of the ships receivers onto the moon and picked up the raw transmission feed straight from the moon. It was Houston capcom talking to the command module as the lunar module was on the Sea of Tranquility. If there were no astronauts there, where did the transmission we heard come from? There will always be some eedjuts who will not believe anything at all and invent logical and believable theories about anything you can care to mention. They are just plain wrong, no matter how plausible and logical their arguments are. (A good definition of paranoia) Did you know the royal family are shape shifting aliens? It must be true, I read it in the Sun, they NEVER lie.

Dang, on the single hand human beings have self belief the authorities is incompetent and can't conceal up even the slightest misdeed, yet on the different human beings could have self belief in a acceptable hoax perpetrated by skill of that exact same authorities. The inconsistency astounds me. have you ever watched any previous videos from earlier celebrity wars got here out? The particular consequences were ludicrous. there is not any way that any one on the time would have faked the landings in any even remotely credible way. i think there have been human beings contained in the 1500's that believed not one of the explorers had sailed to a clean land or international huge too, yet that did not make it any a lot less authentic. often times I melancholy for humanity using occurrence of lack of understanding and superstition. What, extremely, is so difficult to have self belief. heavily. it really is compared to going to pluto in spite of everything. And if it became not in any respect carried out, why hasn't all of us lengthy previous there when you consider that now that the technologies are so significantly better suited? area extraterrestrial beings living on the different aspect that instructed us to stay AWAY??

It appears that he did. And so far I have seen no proper evidence to the contrary, although I have heard of the conspiracy theory. It would fit in with other scams and cover-ups the US government is quite infamous for, but as I said, so far there is no evidence in support of conspiracy, while millions saw Armstrong walking on the Moon (on TV). I know TV can be faked, but what would be the point? There were many non-American observers of the Apollo missions, and if they had been fakes, someone would have noticed and blown the whistle.

Of course not - he was seen in Yates Wine Lodge in Blackpool with Elvis and Buddy Holly when he was supposed to be on the moon.

Count me in as one of the people who believes that man did walk on the moon. I just find it hard to believe that NASA is spending all the money on something else.....hookers and pocket protectors?

not sure mate but someone told me that its something to do with gravitational force that we have wind. therefore the moon has no gravity so does it have wind and could the flag then fly.
