I don't have acne but I use Bare Minerals--you can put it over anything--I"m always having a melanoma removed here and there, and it goes right over the injured area.

I know neutrogena has a line of things that go over your acne, and it's a foundation that helps get rid of acne at the same time. Honestly, I'm not a foundation person though, because it usually clogs up your pores and it's not as important as concealer and lipstick and eye makeup, which is really all that's important. But I really like Physician's Formula foundation too, it's a powder that's good for your pores and everything, and it applies so smoothly and evenly in comparison to liquid foundation. And of course use acne pads and everything too.

I highly recommend Bare Minerals. I have adult acne, and it really covers it nicely, you can use the foundation powder as a concealer too, using their concealer brush. The nice thing about Bare Minerals is that in addition to the excellent coverage and natural look you get, it actually calms and improves your skin! dont block your pores and C, T & M every night and morning. The night lifts the crap off your skin to allo the new cells to grow and the morning routine removes the dead skin cells pushed off with the grow during the night.
drink plenty of water and then some more - see your GP for cream or a (zinc) lotion to apply.
This time will pass and you will have beuatiful skin if you care for it when it breaks out and not block it up or pick at it.
ive been there, but many years ago and its easy to forget how hard it can be to cope with it. good luck

bare minerals is the best make up when you have acne. since it is so natural it doesn't irritate your skin like the others. its so pure you can even sleep in. and i wear it everyday, and i've suffered with acne all my life.

the best is not to use any foundation until acne has gone away. need to keep pores clear and clean, wash face several times daily and keep face oil free.....................
