I need to learn how to do a back handspring befor the year is over for cheer. I need tips!! I already know how to do a back bend all the way down by myself but I need to get my legs over! I can do it when someone spots me but I need to learn how to do it by myself. HELP PLEASE!!!

Keep using your spotter until you've got this trick down pat. Remember to sit back into their arms and then uncoil the energy from your legs outward to initiate. As you practice together, listen to your spot as they correct posture, etc....& have them slowly, over time, adjust their pressure & assistance back until you don't need their help at all.

If you do this, you'll learn it much faster than you thought you could, and you'll learn it safely & in a way that can teach you to be a better spotter yourself.

When you put, be certain you don`t soar up. Jump again. Flex your ft and your legs, and don`t beneath reduce ( beneath chopping is whilst your palms and your ft are too just about eachother). If you soar again instaid of up this may occasionally aid you no longer undercut. I don`t realize when you beneath reduce however that is in general your main issue. Trust me, I do gymnastics and I was once tought those matters.

it took me a long time to get my confidence up to do my back handspring by myself all you really need to do is get up your confidence and just go for it get that STOP sign out of your brain!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!
