What about Prohibition, which became an Amendment to the Constitution. It was directly responsible for the huge amount of funding that made its way into the hands of organized crime in the USA before it was repealed.

How about some of the Blue Laws in New England. Some may still on the books, but ignored, like "Every adult male must bring their musket to church on Sunday mornings." Retail business on Sundays is still prohibited in some locations.

Or how about the State of Tennessee which had problems educating engineers after they passed a law to define the mathematical constant PI as exactly 22/7?

THERE ARE BLUE LAWS WHICH ARE NOT ENFORCED..

LIKE IN oKLAHOMA IT IS STILL LEGAL (ON TH EBOOKS) TO BEAT YOUR WIFE AS LONG AS TH ESTICK IS NOT MORE THAN A HALF INCH WIDE AND SHORTER THAN FIVE FEET LONG

yOU want ME TO COME UP WITH A STUPID LAW ?
OK..... yOU SHOULDNT BE ALLOWED TO HAVE KIDS UNTILL YOU HAVE ENOUGH MONEY AND EDUCATION TO READ THEM A NIGHT-TIME STORY... AND YOU SHOULD HAVE A SPOUSE (OR PROVE YOU MADE AN ATTEMPT TO KEEP ONE) AND TH ECONSEQUENCES IF YOU DONT SHOULD BE YOUR KID BEING GIVEN TO SOMEONE WHO CAN READ AND TAKE CARE OF IT. nOW THAT WOULD BE A DUMB LAW HUH
