i had teamed up with a local wedding photographer offering a portrait service originally (casual work as i am a student) and after i had finished uni for the year i was given a project of 13 paintings with the promise of a lot of cash. i was scammed and managed to get back the paintings which i had completed. i had been strung along for months with the promise of cash and excuse after excuse for not receving any. although i have my paintings back and have a new buyer, should i take legal action for my time being wasted?

Would you have got anywhere with it, or just wasted more time ?
Sometimes you just count your blessings that it was not worse, learn a big lesson, and move on that much wiser, hope it all goes well!!!

Depends how much money is involved. Have you got a written contract etc. Might be worth going over the documentation that you have with a lawyer to see what he thinks.

You can take legal action if you have a signed contract. Otherwise, no guarantee.
