Okay lets just say last year I messed up, and landed myself in an easy to pass, english class, kind of place. I got an A for mid-terms, which is nice....but I really don't deserve it, I'm not anywhere close and I want to get better while maintaining these undeserved A's.

Well to be an excellent writer you need a good intro and conclusion, something to draw the reader in and make them want to continue reading. Your ideas need to be clear and in order, you don't want to skip around ideas and make it confusing. If it helps you may need to brainstorm and make a list of all things you want to include in your writing piece. Try to stay away from using "I" a lot. Make it creative and interesting, and even if it is something you don't care about you need to try and have passion for it. If you have no passion for it, it is needless to say boring and broken up. It's hard to write about something you don't care about so you have to make yourself care. I am in C.P. English and these are some of the things my teacher told us. Good luck with your writing.

An excellent writer is not afriad to write whats on his/her mind. they should be able to express thier thoughts in the clearest way possible, with a lot of descriptive words and adjectives that create a picture in the persons head. Hope i helped a little! good luck with your writing! ;)

A lot of the qualities are intangible, but you have to be able to write something that is both entertaining and, sometimes, meaningful. Another trait is the ability to write about anything without really knowing a whole lot about it.

Someone who is very descriptive and makes what they're writing seem like it's a piece of artwork that the reader is looking at. Someone who isn't repetitive and isn't dull in what they're writing. Someone who can write something and the reader walks away thinking about it and not just forgetting about it.

Your sense of creativity, passion, determination.

Dr. Suess tried and tried over thousands of times to get his books published. he tried, and still failed, yet he NEVER gave up. But one day...his work was finally accepted. He never gave up, and nor shall you. I faith in you, you can do this, once you have your mind set to doing something, it's on a train like tracks and you can't stop it, just don't put on the brakes...:)
