I beleive their is one God and we all worship the same one but just differently b/c we do speak different languages and we are different cultures all mixed up over here. I want peace but they or some would say some of them, not all of them, want us dead? but in their Bible it says to slay us? b/c we are christian or jew and not to befriend one or the other b/c they are friends with one another...then it says to confuse us and lie to us and hide and wait .... kill us in the name of God....sura

It's a tad vague of a question, but I'll try to answer based on what I think you mean by it.

I think there are numerous problems, or perhaps a better term would be sources of conflict, and they're all interrelated.

There is an expression: "Clash of Civilizations". I think that this is a major factor in the problems facing most areas of the world today. Different cultures are encountering each other in ways and in depths never even dreamed possible in past ages. Oftentimes such cultural encounters and dialogues may be taking place faster than the average person can understand what's going on, and there may be a lot of "missing information" (i.e., ignorance) not known or understood by people on both sides of the cultural "gulf" that makes them more turbulent.
Also, different cultures may have different foci, different priorities or values, and different strategies for living which creates conflict, especially when one or both sides thinks of itself as "superior" in some way(s). This can be a major source of conflict. Anytime you have a culture which, for cultural, historical, or religious reasons, thinks of itself as a "superior" culture, and consequently looks down upon others different from itself, you're sure to have a lot of conflict. And in my humble opinion, I think that "Western Civilization" as a whole and "the Muslim world" as a whole tend to be two of the most "superiority"-minded cultures in the world (just look at the countless examples that both cultures have tried (oftentimes very successfully) to force their will on outsiders, sometimes with quite tragic results).
It seems that there are many spokespersons of the "Western civilizations" and of the "Muslim civilization" that are engaging in bitter, hostile and sometimes violently-based language and rhetoric who, it seems, "enflame" an already tense situation, perhaps to their benefit.
Fear and anger are two of the most basic human motivating forces- if you can tap into a person's (or collectively, a society's) fear or anger (based on ignorance of the "Other"), you can oftentimes "lead" them and sometimes even get them to identify strongly with a leader who may be using such emotions to take advantage of people's insecurities.

I would say that the "problem" also is artibrarily created by the media- there is only a finite number of topics the news and media can cover at any given time. So, you have to wonder: who decides what is news? Who is deciding, ultimately, what people are prompted to think about, focus on, and worry about? If it's a big world out there, with literally myriads of topics and events and issues to cover, people should ask themselves: why THIS news? Why now? What is its revelance? Does the importance this story is being given match its importance in reality? Are there other stories or events of importance out there in the world that people don't know about because they are never publicized, or if they are they are marginalized? I guess the answers to these questions will be different for every person depending on your experiences and values, but I think they are questions that should be on the minds of every responsible citizen.

There is a lot more I could say on this topic, but I don't want you to think that this answer is too long or overdone. Hopefully some of this resonates with you, or otherwise prompts more questions to think about.

its not about muslims

when the CIA does **** in the Congo, when Americans & English bomb places for no reasons, train terrorists, or sell guns abroad nobody takes their religion into account, or the fact that most ppl who belong to the leaders & decider's religion don't believe or condone or often know about what they're doing!

i feel really sad for practicing muslims out there often theyre more moral & better than most christians & yet we're the ones giving them stick & thinking bad about them & theirs
