No. Unless you bank with the likes of Coutts or other blue chip private banks, but then you pay for personal service.

I think banks are trying to believe their own marketing. Most people prefer to deal with real people and have a relationship manager who doesn't try to sell them financial services. I have "platinum account" and have been with the same bank for 25 years, but I only get personal attention because my relationship manager broke the rules and gave me her mobile number so that I could leave messages for her and not some useless call centre.

1 time in a trillian, i managed to get £70 off Barclays Bank after complaning about being charged £30 for going £1 overdrawn for less than 5mins (a payment came out before my pay went in)

Halifax said i had no rights

Capital One cant even get there facts streight

The banking system sucks, they only think about there profits and fook the coustmers

It depends on where u do ur banking. Regions Bank is very good. I've had accounts at credit unions b4 & they always treated me w/respect. Maybe they also take into consideration the amount of $$ u have?!

Bank will listen to you more when you owe them more money and will not listen to small timer. eg. They will follow you closely when you owe them 1 million dollar. They will be harsh to small flies who owe them small money like a few thousand dollars
