Whenever people get upset about contuniously trying to conceive and not getting any results others always tell them, "don't try, have fun with it". But, if you really want a baby how do you not try? It's easier said than done.

I try to say "relax and don't dwell on it", instead of "don't try".

When you are relax and enjoying sex, it is easier to get pregnant. When you are full of stress and are not really enjoying what you are doing, then you body is not producing the best quality mucus it can and same for your partner, the best swimmers are going to be the very best.

So make it exciting and not a job. Have fun don't think about making a baby, concentrate on just you and your partner having the best time then. Then after think about being pregnant and having a baby.

There is a website or kits that can help you determine the best days to have sex in order to conceive.
http://www.babycenter.com/calculators/ovulation/

It is definately easier said than done when people say don't try so hard, but take a look at the days you are ovulating and have sex about every other day. You shouldn't have sex every day to try and conceive b/c it decreases the sperm count, thus, decreasing the chance of conception.
Don't consider that you may be having a fertility problem until you've had unprotected sex for at least a year.
You could always try the Basal Body Temp and cervical mucous change method as well.

Just relaxing and getting pregnant doesn't actually work if you have a real medical problem. Stress can be a contributing factor to your inability to get pregnant but it is not the cause. So the people who 'quit trying and it worked' didn't have a medical problem. If you are trying, then get checked out to see if relaxing can work for you.

For my brother and sis in law, they just "quit" trying.
Several months passed, she went tanning, got her hair cut all the way off, lost some weight, got some highlights, went shopping alot.
On Valentines Day they got a suite at a local state park lodge, had dinner, hung out AND conceived...they were NOT thinking of "trying"..they were in their own little world having fun, together, as a couple.
I have heard AND believe, if you lose weight it UP's your chance of getting pregnant.

When you figure it out, let me know. I'd really like to know.

We have inferitlity issues, so that adds even more stress to the thing.

I take it as dont just have sex when your ovulating! Spice it up, try new things, like positions, ect.. Have it whenever and wherever.
