David B, is talking out of his butt. Fox News isn't, "Fair & Balanced". If it were; Hannity would have a better debate partner then Combs. What a wasted position. In as much; Fox tends to have an extreme slant view regarding politics and social issues. They insist on projecting negative sterotype images on people outtside the scope of their point which includes mankind. Their pure existance in life is to be the pro-extremistist cheerleaders for the Bush Machillivian Administration's agenda. This would include all Republicans who think its right to sacrifice teenage boys to win an election.

I'm no fan of Fox News, but MSNBC and CNN are far more liberal than Fox is conservative. And as mentioned above, Fox doesn't claim to be anything than what it is, which is conservative. I watch MSNBC and CNN religiously and the far leaning left gets pretty annoying, when they belabor a certain anti-GOP subject over and over, and jam it down our throats 24/7. This last week has been especially grating. It's almost sad watching guys like Chris Matthews and Wolf Blitzer literally foaming at the mouth over the Foley debacle. I really miss Bernard Shaw.

In any case, Fox is more of a political news channel, whereas MSNBC is breaking news and tabloid journalism. They go straight to tape with those annoying behind-prison documentaries every evening and all weekend, though CNN's become more of a political news channel as of late.

FOX is fair and balanced because they do not automatically take a liberal slant on every story like ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN do. People tend to think it leans right because when they watch FOX they will actually hear a network present the conservative side (they aren't used to hearing it, since NONE of the other networks dare to present anything which might be contrued to support the Bush administration or support the war in IRAQ, or political conservatism) People are watching it more than all the others because you will hear both sides of an argument without the liberal SLANT. The other networks present the other side at times but only do it to preserve their "appearance" of unbiased journalism, and they only do it in a half hearted attempt. A prime example of completely biased, liberal journalism is Publically funded : NPR National Public Radio-- I hate the fact that my tax dollars support NPR or Public television.

Katie curic was the perfect liberal biased choice as the news anchor for CBS..she doesn't have an unbiased bone in her body.

Of all the media outlets, I think Fox News never puts up a front of being fair and balanced. Fox News is right wing conservative and everyone knows it. It doesn't hide its bias like other media. For that I give Fox News credit, although I dislike its point of view and opinions.

FOX - Semi Conservative

Sounds fair and balanced to me.
It's spelled harangued. Use the spell check, very little effort required. Just like CNN's reporting.

I find Fox News describing themselves as "Fair and Balanced" to be entirely offensive. They give all American broadcast journalism a bad name.

I agree Fox is very far from being fair and it is primarily funded by the republican party so their views are biased and gear towards Conservative views!

"The O'Reilly Fiction" is a prime example of, if you don't agree with the host you will, 1. be hung up on (radio) 2.have your mic cut(tv) 3. be assaulted by bombastic bull crap and before you are able to respond......'we are out of time!' Fair and Balanced? Nah, I think not.
