oooh, i do that all the time, and now my ankle is permanently screwed, so i advise you to only play lightly, and with a brace or wrap to keep from further injuring it. also stretch and turn your ankle every day for abotu 10 minutes so it doesnt get too stiff. if it keeps hurting for longer than 2 weeks, see your regular doctor or go to a knee, ankle, and foot specialty doctor. they can find out whats causing the pain to linger and give you the right treatment. best of luck to you and hope you keep playing soccer, as i still play soccer even with a messed up ankle. if you need any more advice you can email me at emoredskincow@yahoo.com

I would go to your family doctor or physician. They will prob do xrays and/or give you a referral to orthopedic surgeon. You could have fractured or broke a bone or ruptured a tendon. If its causing you problems now, it will only get worse with time if you dont get it corrected/fixed. Good Luck. I hope everything turns out ok.

For future referrence: if you are injured like that again the best thing to do is R.I.C.E = Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation. If the pain or swelling does not subside in 24 - 48 hours or you can not put pressure on your ankle (etc) seek medical attention. If you dont have insurance, the hospital ER has to give you medical attention (it will be expensive but you can make pymts) or you could call a local Urgent Care.

I badly sprained my ankle approximately three weeks in the past. I used to be in a rush happening the steps, misplaced my steadiness and landed on a nasty part of my left foot, inflicting my left ankle to be stretched going at the within. The first forty eight hours have been excruciating and the anguish used to be un-plausible. I've not ever had a major ankle damage earlier than. So I instantly dealt with it utilizing the RICE approach. The following day, the bruising and swelling have been so terrible. I discovered that I bought a moment measure sprain and instantly panicked after that. I had a soccer sport on that week and it been watching ahead to it seeing that I've been coaching for rt. I had teammates that had identical accidents and it took them months to completely recuperate, a few of them stopped gambling altogether. So I kinda had a brief-time period despair seeing that I are not able to think myself no longer being in a position to run and play exercises anymore. Because I used to be so determined to recuperate once more, I contacted plenty of humans that I recognise who do exercises and requested them if that they had identical accidents. One buddy of mine, from the boy's soccer group in my institution, instructed me approximately H.E.M. Ankle Rehab. I bought a replica four days after I bought injured. I instantly learn and adopted what used to be told and felt benefit at the first day. I used to be in a position to stroll just a little, however I used to be in anguish. A couple of days after that, the swelling and bruising have been subsid-ing drastically and at the fourth day, I used to be running quite simply once more. Although I've had felt just a little of stiffness, I persevered doing what used to be told. My sister used to be amazed that I have recovered this quick. I instructed her approximately this publication and used to be surprised on how mighty the approaches have been. I'm simply so completely satisfied that this publication used to be shared to me and the way mighty it's. Heal your ankle completely & quick?

I would if I were you, just to make sure nothing's damaged. You should have given yourself lots and lots of rest with your sprained ankle (because that's what it was, I guess), but it's to late for that now...
