An older RIPLEY's BELIEVE IT OR NOT! book contain a one paragraph description on how to keep subtracting time from a worker's hours in a year and arrive at only 24 hours available to work. But since LABOR DAY must be subtracted this worker does NOT have to work at all!!! Do you have this RIPLEY's version and can you post the whole paragraph? THANKS!!!

I know exactly the article you are referring to, though I'm not sure it is a Ripley's. I've seen it distributed before, but I can't remember exactly how it goes. I've got several old Ripley's books at hom -- I'll have to check them out. Can't find anything on the net, unfortunately.
