Definitely France, without its naval fleet and Marquis de Lafayette, Washington would not be able to defeat the British led by General Cornwallis in the Battle of Yorktown.

france!!!with the training and assistance of the marquis de lafayette in modes of the modern european order of arms and drilling ,equipment and types of muskets;and the french fleet (under admiral de grasse)which blockaded the transport ships of lord cornwallis from any rescue, reprovision, escape or retreat he had no choice but to surrender his infantry forces surrounded by colonial land forces and the coordinated french men-of-war at sea and him on a peninsula!!

i'd have to say france. it was a great help in the naval combat. it also helped in getting the troops into military combat rediness. I'd say that the african americans also helped a lot. as well as a few native american allies which helped with the gorilla like warfare.
