I was about 16 years old when I read a true crime book about two girls who killed an old lady, but I can't remember the title of the book or it's names, or any of the people in it, but i remember it took place in california and the girls were no older than like 15 or something....any one know a good search engine to use to find it?

You might try places that sell used book such as abebooks.com or bookfinder.com. They have keyword searches that may be able to help you.
