As a male, I can say that it is absolutely possible. I have had many female friends over the years that there has not been any sexual intimacy with, or even the desire for it for either of us. The problem is in society. There is this idea that men and women can't be friends without there being something sexual about it. In fact there are cases where it becomes something sexual simply because the people involved believe it has to because of these ideas. It is a sad state of affairs but until society as a whole get its collective head out of its as...well... the point is that is is possible

Thats BS they really cant cuz sure you have a lot of guy friends but why do you think they are your "friends" cuz either your HOT or you are a tomboy and like the stuff they do thats it! besides how do relationships (as in sexual ones) and affairs and flings start?? you have to be friends first so dont give me that BS. Now there is an exception to that that is when you go out as a group or coworkers going out as a group but if you have a girl/boyfriend and you "go out" with a "friend" then forget it anything can happen i dont care if you say im not like that or hes not like that BS sooner or later it will turn to more than just a friendship!

By all means. And they make the best of friendships. To be able to put your guard down and express freely to a male friend is sometimes satisfying. As women friends tend to gossip. Sometimes, friendships are destroyed after sexual intimacy occurs.

I have a male friend...no intimacy... YUK.. I don't even think of him like that at all !! I am very happily married.

Yes, but when one of them hooks up with someone, the friendship usually gets put on hold due to jealously by the new squeeze!

There can be sexual tension. Or a 1 sided sexual attraction. or there can be absolutely NO sexual attraction at all.

My best friend is a guy, since hs! we'd do anything for each other, but, have never had the desire to have sex. So yeah, its possible!
