Is it true that in the life cycle of Sponges, phylum Porifera, there is not a stage called Medusa?

Medusas are only found in the life cycle of Cnideria, or jellyfish and anemones, right?

Medusa is free living phase on cnidarians, different phylum than porifera, sponges. Larvae are swimmers and get dispersed via sea currents. So, No.
