My father has recently caught his wife cheating and is seeking a divorce, he had property when they married and of course after they married put her name on the deed will she still be entittled to 1/2 or all of this property. laws of tn????

If her name is on the deed, then unfortunately she is entitled to half; if not all. That will be worked out in court.

In Tn if he put her on title as his wife the she has interest by the entirety, if 1 spouse is deceased it goes to the living. He will have to get the property decreed to him through the divorce court. Needs a marital dissolution agreement stating this plainly.

Usually when you married and get a divorce the other one always gets half. My husband just went through a divorce and he paid for everything thats in this house but since they were married shes intitled to half. But since she wants everything and my husband isn't going to give her everything the judge will have to split it. And for the house they lived in, they were renting so since she was already at the time cheating she left and had a place to live so they let my husband live in the house.

YES SHE IS INTITLE TO HALF HIS MISTAKE WHEN HE PUT HER ON the deeds now she property owner and didnt have to pay for it.
