Okay, I've been married for little over 3 months. Neither my wife nor I had any sexual relations prior to our marriage (yes, 22 years without any sex is possible :-)

So were a little, shall we say "uneducated" with regards to sex, and all the joy that comes with it (pun intented).

My question is this, Is it common for the female to body to immedately expel the man's semen after sex? (I, for some apparently stupid reason, thought that it would stay in her.)

My wife and I both wonder if couples usually have to "do it" while lying on some type of towel/cloth so as to not make a mess. The second I pull out, my wife starts "leaking".

If this is normal, how does pregnancy take place if it all comes out afterwards? Does any of it stay in her?

I'm sure some reader out there will think I'm some sick perv. but in all honesty, We (my wife and I) are totally new at this, and are both too embarrased to ask our parents 8-).

-Thanks

You sound too sweet ... lol ... !

Everything sounds normal to me ... if you're trying to get pregnant ... you just have to release and hold ... the woman will lye on her back with legs in air for a few minutes ... sperm swim fast ... so even if she's "leaking" they will still be inside of her ... if you don't like the mess ... use a towel under her or next time pull out and shoot it wherever ... it's just a wet spot ... sometimes if there's a lot of seaman I'll run to the toilet real fast and get rid of the little buggers ... lol ... and run back for more ... !

If I were you two ... I would invest in some pornos ... that way you can really get an idea of the different things you want to try out ... there's also lots and lots of books too ... always fun learning about the different sexual positions and my favorite is actually learning about the anatomy of my partner and why that made it work the way it did .. and so on ... sex is fun .. be open-minded and be sure to always communicate .. no-body's a mind reader ... oh yeah and never assume in the bed - just ask ... !

First don't feel bad about not knowing we all have been there when we first started experiencing sex. Yes it is normal for the semen to expel it's self, a towel would be a wise choice under your wife not only for that reason but as arousal takes place the body will naturally make it's own moisture and depending on the women it could be a lot and she will have juices (if I may say) flowing and it will be on the outside, but don't worry you want that to happen it is lubrication and will make it feel so much better for you. Pregnancy will take place when she is ovulating it is a small window of time, so don't waste it. When the semen inters the vagina the sperm(little worms y'all call it)will immediately start swimming the course needed to find the egg and fertilize it. So you see not all of it does expel even in 24 hours she will still have some in her. I wish the both of you lots of Happiness in your new life to gather!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Ive been having sex for a lot longer then you and have had several pertners and yes it is normal, altho a man will only "deposit" a small amount mixed with the female leakage it will seem alot, dont worry it happens to us all and any who say it doesnt is lying. And unless she stands on her head while your having sex, and I dont recommend that, (well, not for long anyway, hehe) some of it will run out, but that doesnt mean she wont get pregnant enough stays at the top near the cervix to be able to swim up and fertilise an egg!!! sperm are persistant little buggers, and it only takes one to do the deed, so quit worrying and have fun!!!
A towel may save you having to change the sheets every day tho hahaha.

Also, to help prevent infections, and I dont mean std's just your usual urine, bladder infections, your wife should have a pee after having sex, I was told this by a doctor as having a pee flushes any germs out of that area. After all, a human mouth contains alot of bacteria!

It's normal for some of it to come out. If it's all coming out, you may not be penetrating deep enough. If you want to get pregnant, have sex while her hips are propped on a pillow, you on top, then when you're done, have her stay laying down and hold her legs in the air--have her stay laying down for at least 10 minutes, but preferably an hour.

And, depending on your cleanliness preferences, you can just go ahead and change your sheets in the morning--or get some extra towels. We don't have that issue exactly, but I hear what you're saying. Sometimes you just have to sleep around the wet spot, lol. Good luck to you both.

Ugh, at some of these answers! You'll find that no matter what happens during sex to you and your wife, it happens to a lot of other people! Some of the fluid is going to be you, and some will be your wife. It's not "squirting," but for a lot of women, they have a lot of discharge when they have sex. It's like a natural lubricant. Your wife probably has some discharge when she's doing nothing at all. But don't worry, even if some comes out, whether its yours or hers, that stuff is in there, like someone else said. BUT, if you guys are trying to get pregnant, please don't believe the crap about pillows and positions or whatever. Do the research on that, but its not true. Once its in there, its in there, no matter what position you guys are in. Have fun with your new life and experimenting!

When you first shoot it into her is when your sperm would go and find the egg and start the pregnancy. We use a towel when we are done so we don't make a big mess. I go to the bathroom to get the excess out and he just wipes himself off. It doesn't stay inside your wife. She can try holding it in herself to have more time for the sperm and egg to connect. Good luck on getting pregnant.

it is normal for it to leak out....mean old Mr Gravity.

We always make fun of the wet spot and no one wants to sleep there...so we sleep close. Tissues at the bedside are helpful.

All it takes is microscopic drop to get pregnant...no worries there!

Get "The Joy of Sex"....or "Sex for Dummies" (no insult meant)

I think it is great and admiral that you waited until marriage! And I wish the best in exploring and learning together was good sex is all about!

I don't think porn is a good way to educate......not realistic and you will have a fantasy view of what sex is suppose to be in the real world!

Perfectly normal. A towel is a good idea to prevent messing up sheets, furniture, etc. Despite your inexperience, you've probably heard of a "wet spot". That's partially the cause.

Not all of it is expelled, but if a woman's muscles are contracting (i.e from orgasm) or based on the position she is in, there will be some leakage. If you are trying to get pregnant, a lot of doctor's recommend the woman put her legs above her head to help keep it in...

Depends on the position you are in and if you have a lot of semen. It may seem to all come out but trust me they swim fast. It's okay everything is normal. You can use a towel next time to ease your mind

You are far from a sick perv. Eventually the semen does seep out..sometimes right away, sometimes a bit later...HOWEVER, the active little swimmers are still swimming where they belong. The part you seeing isn't all of it. Just be sure when you ejaculate in her, you are all the way in and nature will do its thing.

Position hardly matters when it comes to getting pregnant. I got pregnant being on top! : )
