Most electric companies will urge you to use your large appliances (dishwasher, dryer, etc.) after 8 PM. This is when the overall demand for electricity is less. Will it save you money? I don't think so.

It doesn't matter and drying your clothes in a dryer doesn't take much for energy. I do 4 loads a week and I don't see that it cost a lot of money.

I say hang them or either wait till you know neighbors, family,etc is sleeping so that they won't know you are drying at night cuz everyone will have all of there lights and other things off.

At night time because your dryer puts off heat and makes your AC work harder if it is hot outside.

i would say at night.but one think i know that saves is to dry all r clothes when drying..like don't dry one load and Waite to dry the other keep drying until all ur clothes that need dried r done..

if you live in a area where you need to cool your house with A/C definitely wait till evening hours so as not to add extra heat to your home . as far as saving elect. it cost the same day or nite the rates do not change with the sun.

it helps to take all your shirts and hang them on hangers let them air dry ,this is better for your shirts and less power to dry them .night nor day power is power ,try hanging the light wear .

during the day while everyone is away at work, but also late a tnight while everyone's sleeping, whatever works best for you
