A URL (Uniform Resource Locator - ie no URL will ever be the same....) relates to a web page/address.
For example http://www.google.co.uk is a URL

URLs can also relate to images songs and files on the internet.
So for example, the Yahoo Answers logo URL is http://eur.i1.yimg.com/eur.yimg.com/i/uk/se/ukan2.gif

If it ends in .co.uk or.com or .org etc etc then it's an actual web page

If it ends in .jpg .bmp etc then it's an image

And so on and so fourth for every other file type .pdf .doc etc etc

URLs can be used in HTML to create links and also to 'post' pictures.

It's in the address bar near the top of your browser. URL is the Uniform Resource Locator.

A URL is the text in the top of your browser. That starts with "http://" or "www"

Such as, the URL to google is http://www.google.com/

Make any sense?
