Am i to young to wear makeup...I'm 16....?

well, i'm 21, and i've never worn foundation. until a certain age, your skin has a youthful appearance, so you don't necessarily need to put anything on it. as for eyes, you can use concealer if you feel the need or if your undereye circles are bad. and eyeliner is okay too, but not too much. some girls go overboard and they look completely fake, and to tell you the truth, sometimes, it looks really ugly.

something that'll help you out is that the "natural look" is very much in this season, so if you wear blush and some concealer (if you need it) and a little bit of eyeliner, you'd be fine, and i'm sure you'll look beautiful. :) being that you are only 16, your skin, eyes, and lips probably look great, so you might not even need to use any makeup.

I think most people would say that you're old enough to start wearing make-up. They'd probably also tell you that you are absolutely beautiful without it. The most beautiful look is the one that is either natural or so close to natural that you can barely tell the makeup is there.
- If I might offer a word of advice: Make-up is used most effectively to enhance the good features that you already have. Some people make the mistake of trying to look like someone else entirely. If you are not in theatre or performing in a rock band, you will be most beautified by using makeup that draws attention to your finest features in a subtle, highlighting manner.

no, you are not too young, i've been wearing make up since i was a about 7 or 8, and have taken 8 or 9 makeup classes. makeup does not hide you, it just brings You out.

If u wanna wear makeup go for it! I'm 13 goin on 14 and I wear makeup I mean foundation, powder, lipgloss, mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow.. I get comments all the tmethat I'm to young but hey I like the way I wear my makeup so if u wanna wear makeup go for it I say if ur older that 11 ur not too young.. and if people comment on you wearing to much makeup or that ur to young just ignore and if they keep repeatin their selves just tell em to kiss ur butt :P lol hope i helped:D *^*Brianna*^*

I'm a guy, and I think that unless you need to look professional every day, 16 is a great age to start wearing make up. Put as little as possible. It looks horrible if anyone under 40 wears "easily noticable" make up.
Too much make-up is when a 10 year old boy asks you what you did to your face.

No im 13 and i wear abit of makep everyday, jst dont wear to much just abit of foundation and eye liner or some eye shadow but make sure you go into a makeup shop like boots and get them to show you how to put it on and help you pick which colours suit you better! because if you get the wrong colours or put it on wrong it willnt look very good.Good Luck xx

no i started to wear makeup when i was 12 and your going to want to know how to put makeup on and have experience with it so you can do your own for the dances and stuff

I don't think so, but does your family? Either way, approach mom and maybe ask her to teach you how to apply cosmetics properly. This will make her feel like she's still very much a part of your life & it might bring you two closer & could lead to a very fun part of your lives.

I also agree, whatever you do....go light to start with until you develop your own unique style.

no not at all , a few tips on makeup 1st less is best you want to look good but you don't won't to look overdone you want people to see a beautiful face not a lot of makeup 2nd find a good makeup i myself like bare minerals but you don't want makeup that's going to cause break-outs and you need one with a sun blocker in it my makeup is good for both good luck!
