When did that happen? I missed that in the newspaper. Oh hang on, yes, I remember, it's just like my fanatical belief that one day Leicester City might improve.

Surely the question you have to answer is, if Celtic are the best team in the UK, shouldn't they play in a league that was more of a level playing field (and yes, I know most leagues aren't level, but the SPL is seriously over balanced)

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahah what a joke. They've lost twice to man utd this season already( once a smashing by their b-team). Honestly though, if they joined the English league it would be unfair for them to join straight into the premiership but lets say they joined the Championship....They wouldn't get out of it!!!! Teams like Sunderland, Cardiff, Palace, Birmingham etc etc would beat them easily. Most of Celtics best players are English teams rejects ie Alan Thompson, Tommy miller(wolves reserve player). Your so funny

I seem to remember that there was talk a few years ago of allowing Celtic and Rangers to join the premiership of England as one or the other would win every title in Scotland year in and year out,and they are were obviously far too good to play in the Scottish league.
I would have liked to have seen that.Perhaps then we would be able to see just good they are.

In Scotland other clubs used to chant 'Glesca tinkies' over and over.
It means 'Glasgow poor folks' as the Celtic supporters were clearly from the lower end of the food chain.
Rangers fans are pretty much the same and lots of people in Scotland loathe both clubs.
They are more interested in religion than football but the authorities are making serious inroads into ther sectarian chants (both clubs) and they are dinosaurs breathing their last.
Good.

first british club to win the european cup = best team,
