Go into another room in your own house. If you can barely hear it, you are OK. Remember you don't have to feel music. You only need to hear it.

Just ask them. Next time you see them, just mention that they should feel free to let you know if the music is too loud and whether it bothers them. Or if you're planning a party where there will be loud music, let them know in advance and make sure it's going to be okay with them.
You can also step outside and see how loud it is.

You'll know when they call the police. Or when they come over and complain to you. Or why don't you just go over and ask them if they think it's too loud? That would be the polite thing to do.

If the cops show up at your door, then that's a surefire way of telling if your music is too loud.

My daughter is 16 yrs old and into RnB and Hip Hop
My next door neighbour's daughter is the same age.
Nobody is sure who to blame....unless it's proper Rythm and Blues, or Rock. Then its me.
Still, we never complain if their dog is barking

If they are hammering your walls - it's a good indication. Alternately why not walk out the house, close the door and walk up the road - if you can hear it - so can everyone else!!!!
TURN IT DOWN
