They now use half of the worlds supply in concrete and one third supply in steel ! Building and expanding at a phenominal rate. Shanghai is eight times bigger than New York City. Will we be able to keep up to food production? Then there is further growth with the rest of the planet. And we shall see the fruits of our labour in our garbage, man that'll be pile of it !!! What will become of us?

Our problem is we all want to live the rich life! Only for the few!
All our manufacturing efforts is going overseas for CHEAP labor.
You ask how fast, it's like an Elephant. If the front legs are doing 40MPH, the back legs is hauling ***! That's correct China's growth rate is HAULING ***.

Yes, they have a one child policy - but it is frightening.
We will become an overpopulated planet.
Maybe the US should also stop poping out 9 kids to get benefits from the state to live free.....
