Unfortunately there is not a single term. Sometimes it depends on the field of use and even the country like, for example, metereology. In this science, in the US the term used is "sublimation". In other parts of the world "deposition".
Other terms used are "frost formation", "condensation", "solidification"
I prefer "deposition"

Condensation! Clouds are water vapor=gas. Cool air turns them liquid, and they fall as rain. Even cooler air freezes them, and they fall as hail, snow or ice.
