OK guys - i need a new word. A verb, to be more specific.

What word would you use for someone who is pretending to work, but really they are not getting anything done?

well that sounds like a slacker to me lol maybe someone with avoidance issues lol why not just throw a few letters together and make a word or better yet get someone to make up the word for you lol remember never do anything today that can be put off till tomorrow lol

dawdlework... can be used as a noun and as a verb. I'm dawdleworking as I type this. But I'm not usually a dawdleworker.

Well, I'd call it procrastination - doing one activity in order to avoid doing a more important activity. That's what I'm doing right now!

here's a brief phrase we use at my job
"stealth associate"

-you know their there, but you can't see them

other than that, I'd say go with a famous person who has similar traits like wally on the comic strip dilbert.
