Current boyfriend, yes! And it's fanastic!! We met online in a chat area called VP. Or also known as Virtual Places. We struck up a convo in IM's and then exchanged phone numbers. Talked on the phone a few times and really clicked....decided to meet in person...he lived in NH and i am in PA. About an 8 hour drive apart. After meeting 3 times, him driving down to me...he finally moved here and we now have an apartment together and are getting married next June. Things have been really great. We each finally found our soulmate, altho i would not recommend online dating to everyone. There are quite a few loonies out there, and you cant be too careful. If this is how you meet your other half, then i suggest meeting with a group of friends, to be safe. You have help should things not be perfect, but you have a chance to be alone and get to know each other also.

No, I met mine when I was 14. His family moved far away. We eventually stopped talking. But I did use the Internet when I was 29 to find his number, neither one had ever been married or had kids...But we are married now! woo hooo!

Yes- My hubby lived in the same state as me but in a different county (the county was 15 miles from me) Both him and I grew up in the same city and both of our parents live in that city. So we only live 15 miles from our parents which is great.

Yup. He was 5,000 miles away and in a different country. We married, he went back home, I waited 10 months for my visa, and have been here for 2 years now.

well, sort of. fell deeply in love but turned out that our age and cultural difference came in between. all seemed fine till after we met. even then it all continued for another 8 months. now he tells me that it is over and we will not meet again. he returns to his country, to his family, and when i ask to meet him one last time, he refuses. so i am very sad to say, my dream failed.

You are lucky. My brother met his wife through E-Harmony and they are both happy. I met my wife in real life. We are happy.
