Do you wear the same shirt and trousers seven days in a row? Daytime clothing absorbs just as much body moisture and oil as bed-clothing does during each night's 8-hour sleeping session.

My preference leans toward a fresh pair every second or third night. Besides, freshly laundered pyjamas are so nice to slip into before bedtime.

It all depends on how often it is used. In a hotel, daily washing when a guest is using the room. My spare room linen gets washed once every few months or when I have guests. mine gets a weekly wash.

Your bedding I think should be changed every week and washed at 60 degrees because any lower and it wont kill the dust mites, you should also hover your mattress regularly to get rid of dead skin and mite pooh etc not nice but true.

For children and celibate adults, once a week

For sexually active people, twice a week.

For a sick person who stays in bed, every day.
