my lovely daughter is two years old, and is not really talking too much. we have her in school, and she seems to be trying, but my husband and I are a little worried that it will never come out. Any idea?

If your daughter doesn't seem to have any problems hearing and can follow simple directions (especially two step directions) then don't worry...she'll talk when she's ready and you need to relax. My youngest didn't start talking until she was three...and then she started with complete sentences! Sometimes she had trouble with simple words, like sprite, but she could say Monongahela and not even think about it. Best of luck...

Rest assured that this is rather normal. Some children start to speak later than others and it should not be a concern. as a matter of fact my friends 3yr old did not speak till he was 2 and a bit and now 3 and a bit and he knows where all of the states so. So relax ti will come

ok properly im no longer declaring I extremely have a newborn that began speaking previous due or had a newborn in any respect, yet i kno my stuff about babies. ummmah ummah... o yeah. i understand it form of feels ordinary yet i examine that some babies that are very ingenious yet have speech disabilities will be autistic. some autistic chilren are extremely smarter then the traditional newborn. sorta like how a blind man or woman has superior different senses. if hes strong at eye contact and he basicly comprehend what you're declaring (as in he nods or knows the words yet doesnt say them) then you actually must be nice. I extremely have slightly cousin i had to observe from even as he develop into basically seven months. he had a speech situation and hes 3 now and would placed sentences jointly completely. i wouldnt hardship to a lot though. hes nonetheless youthful. :)

Don't worry...she will start talking when she is ready. Mine didn't start really talking until she was 3, after that I prayed for silence :) Kids develop at their own pace. It is possible that you may give her what she wants without making her talk. If you are or have been guilty of that, start making her ask for what she wants. No pointing, grunting, whining or tantrums, and stick to it! If she doesn't try, don't give in.

You might want to have her evaluated for a speech delay. Check with your state for Early Intervention services. They start an early age and will do tests to see what level of speech your daughter has reached. Speech therapists can work wonders!
