There is no reason you have to come out to break up with her. Straight people break up all the time. It is almost stupid for her to think that a relationship at the age of 16 should last longer than a few weeks.

Nobody should be in a serious or long term relationship before the age of 21

Just tell her that you feel you are too young to be in a serious relationship. It is the truth. You don't have to "come out" for this to be true.

Remember this when you enter into the what ever it will be with the boy you like. If you expect that this will be a "forever" thing, you will end up very disappointed. Even if it lasts a while, by the time you go away to college you will be such a different person you and he will not have the same needs, likes, and dislikes.

Many relationships fall apart simply because of unrealistic expectations. Many end badly because of people insisting that the other person live up to those unrealistic expectations.

I do believe in love. I have been in a gay relationship for over 16 years. I just think people should wait before attempting to try the "long term" thing.

Have fun, enjoy life. Share the joy with whoever you choose to share it with, but don't DEMAND exclusivity before you and your chosen one is capable of understanding that kind of comittment.

Just tell her that things are not working out between you two and you would like to end the relationship. She doesn't need to know that you are gay.

There is no easier way to break up with a girl than to say...........I'm gay! Since you are not ready to come out yet.....if she tells anyone say you were joking. How did you end up with a girlfriend anyways?????

HONESTY, HONESTY, HONESTY!!! Just tell her the truth even if the guy isnt out that shouldnt keep you from making a mess of your life and your current girlfriend, if you like her even as a friend you owe it to her. She may have really strong feelings for you and you shouldnt lead her on.

Leave subtle hints, like start looking at MEN when you're out with her while ignoring all the other women, Invite your boyfriend among on a date and pay more attention to him instead of her.

Stuff like this.

Whatever you do, don't tell her it's because you're gay, just tell her you don't want to go out with her anymore. By the way, being gay is a choice...just because you don't like girls doesn't mean you're gay. Someday maybe you'll like them. You don't have to become gay...maybe you should talk to your mom or dad about this decision so that they can help you.

Not be more sure of what? That he is gay? Tell the girl you don't want to be with her, give her the "I want to be friends story...."
