As a general rule in biology, most molecules that end in 'ase' for their names are enzymes. Also, another general rule in biology is that most enzymes are proteins (almost all in fact). Therefore, I'd say that it's highly likely that aconitase is a protein (and an enzyme).

it would be an enzyme (you can always tell enzymes because their names end in -ase). Enzymes are proteins. So aconitase is an enzyme and a protein.
