as far as the oil change goes its pretty easy to do just a pain to get to the filter(unless honda has changed it from the back side of the motor). As far as the filter goes, Fram is a good choice.

It should be as easy as any other oil change. Take off the oil fill cap. Go underneath and unscrew oil drain plug, Wait for oil to almost stop dripping. Replace oil plug. Unscrew oil filter,Put light film of oil on new filter gasket.Don't use a fram filter! They are not as good as they say.Tighten new filter as tight as you can by hand. If you have a week grip snug it up a Little with an oil filter wrench.... But not too tight. Then fill with the proper amount of oil till it's at the full mark on the dip stick. Replace fill cap. Run car for about 3 mins. Turn car off. wait 2 mins and recheck the level. Fill with more oil as necessary till at top of fill line on dip stick. Replace dip stick
Take oil and old filter to a Napa or advance auto parts for recycling. Change oil again at about 3000 miles or what ever your owners manual says. Good luck. And if you do it your self you'll save and average of 10dollars or more per oil change.

ofcourse its easy... and cheaper. unless your required by acura to go to them for check-ups and oil changes, you should do it yourself. that way you know you actually did do it and you didnt pay the ridiculous prices.
