Hi there

Has Microsoft word actually been deleted? Even If the icon isn't;t on your desk top or start menu the program could still be installed. Go to your start menu and select Run. Then type explorer. Click on your C drive, select program files, then Microsoft office. In there, you should see a folder called office. In here, you should see a file called winword. Click your right mouse button on this file and select create short cut. A shortcut will appear at the end of the file list. Click your right mouse button on this and select the cut option. Then click on your C drive and go to documents and settings folder. Select the folder for your user name or select all users, then select Desktop. Then on the edit menu, click the paste option. This will copy the shortcut to your desktop. If you don't see the Microsoft office folder in program files as explained above, then Microsoft office isn't installed. You will need a Microsoft office CD to install Microsoft Word.

Hope this helps.

someone printed a link to my article above so I gained't repeat myself, yet in short, regrettably till you've been very fortunate and locate the record contained in the non everlasting folder i'm afraid it really is lengthy previous. note only assumes you probably did not opt for it in case you pressed "no". on an same web page you'll stumble on a link to a touch loose software called note LifeSaver that may help supply up this happening again. i recognize it really is not any longer a lot help now, yet... i will probable write a software sometime which immediately saves ALL note files, no matter if you needed to or no longer, in some particular folder. difficult disks have a lot of area those days, so it really is not any large deal and it might help circumvent this from happening - all of us make blunders often times...

You need to have the CD but here is an online alternative.

maybe you can download openoffice. . (not sure of the site, but it's like openoffice.org or something. .

it's a program that's like office (including MS Word), but free. . and I think it's also maybe compatible w/ MS word (in other words, I think you can open other people's word documents w/ it. . etc). .

this might not help if you have to email the resume instead of printing it out and handing it to them yourself. . but if you can give it to them in person, this might just do it . .
