Most of the boxes in my house or tires on my car could write more intelligent lyrics. Does that mean that kids that like rap are for the most part nothing but mental empty shells?

I have a 4.0 GPA in college and I love to listen to rap.
Where is your proof that all rap stars have low intelligence? How many rap stars have branched out of the music business and made lots and lots of money in other markets like movies and fashion?

Confusing belligerence with lack of intelligence can be very extremely dangerous. Rap (and i refuse to grace the genre with the term music) accomplishes what it sets out to do quite efficiently, and the rapsters you are criticizing are laughing all the way to the bank.
Unfortunately, those who like Rap are NOT mentally empty shells.

Do you know for a fact that rap stars have low intelligence? I would be willing to bet they are more lucid than you think. They just give the mob what it wants.

Its called evolution of language!
Language is there for humans to communicate EASILY. That's why it CHANGES ALL THE TIME! There are just always ways to make language more efficient and since there are new inventions all the time we also need new words! The same thing has been happening for thousands of years. Most people that complain about this are bitter, lazy wannabe intellectuals.

no it doesnt. and as much as i hate rap nowadays there is more intelligent rap that is not as popular as the booty shaking **** they play on the radio. ive straight out STOPPED listening to it ....all of it it has become ludicrous
