1) You shall have no other gods before me. (Broken: George has Dick Chaney.)
2) You shall not worship idols. (Broken: George worships at the altar of the Almighty Dollar.)
3) You shall not take the name of the Lord in vain. (Broken, every time he mentions a Lord he doesn't really follow.)
4) Keep the Sabbath. (Broken, though not his fault. All Presidents work 24/7.)
5) Honor your father and mother. (Broken. It's a known fact that W doesn't take advice from his father. If he did, he might have read Bush Sr's book that said taking and holding Iraq would be impossible.)
6) You shall not murder. (Broken: 100,000 civilian dead in Iraq and Afghanistan.)
7) You shall not commit adultery. (Still intact, broken by predecessor.)
8) You shall not steal. (Broken: see record Oil company profits, Halliburton contracts, and how much money he's stolen from our grandchildren with his tax cuts and big spending.)
9) You shall not give false testimony. (Broken, see stated WMD justification for Iraq war.)
10) You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor. (Broken: he covets Iraq's oil.)
Hmmm. Broken eight of ten.

I'm pretty sure that in "bush world", the Ten Commandments are considered as just some sort of silliness that Bill Clinton's ancestors came up with to stifle the actions of early economic growth entrepreneurs...or tax collectors, as they were more commonly called.
They do come in handy though, at fund raising events.
After all, "Thou shall not bite the hand that feeds you" is rule number one for any King.

Bush is one man, who considers himself a Christian. Our country is not run by a religion, it's run by a large group of diverse governmental agencies that advise the president as to what would be beneficial to our country and the people within it.
Decisions have to be made. As a Christian and a human being, I believe he has struggled with many decisions that were set forth. But, they still had to be made. It's our government as a whole - not just one man - that decides our fate and I have faith in both. I'm not happy with the situations we've been challenged with or looking at where the USA is today in such turmoil. But, I do believe in the thousands of Americans that everyday are working on resolutions to our problems and pray that they are quick and decisive in keeping us strong and vital. Most of them are of some faith also.

You must be thinking of Clinton. He used his Bible as a prop just to fool the gullible and ignorant.
Bush does follow the 10 commandments. Read the books written by the people that really know him.

It turns out his so-called Christian persona is just something he adopted at the urging of his father, Karl Rove and others to help him appeal to the conservative right. Once he's out of office, he'll probably never set foot in a church again, will get drunk constantly and will snort more coke in a week than most druggies use in a year. After all, he has to make up for lost time.

Um, point of order, the Ten commandments don't really apply to Christians, they're more relevant to the Jews... Old Testament vs New Testament... sorry...

I don't know which commandments you are referring to....George W. is a loyal servant to God and if you can be more specific I'd be happy to help enlighten you.
What have you done to serve your Lord and Savior today?
