Oh but there are some mexican superheroes. 1) Santo, el enmascarado de plata (silver mask). He was a masked wrestler that did tons of "B" movies, very popular in Japan by the way. 2) Kaliman, el hombre increible (the incredible man). He was a turban man that went all over the world solving misteries. 3) Chanoc, Well, he was not really a superhero but just a hero. 4) My favorite... El Chapulin Colorado... (the red cricket), he was a really funny clumbsy superherro created by the genious Chespirito.

Bonita Juarez, Marvel's minor character Firebird is Mexican-American. I don't know if she is a native born Mexican or just born in the US and ethnically Mexican. You can find out more about her by looking at the online Marvel Directory. She flies and has fire-type powers.

Marvel's El Aguila was born in Madrid. He has electrical powers but must use a sword to aim his blasts.

I THINK the Black Venus was a Mexican superheroine, but I'm not certain. Not the original one, but Americomics revived this FemForce character in the 80's or 90's. I don't think she had any super powers, though, she just rescues people and helps them.

FemForce has a new character that I don't know much about called Rayda... She has electrical powers... I seem to remember that she had a Hispanic name. You might want to look her up.

Hmmm. Sunspot from the New Mutants/X-men is Brazilian, so is Fire from the Justice League.

Firebird is Mexican, so are Mas y Menos and one of the Blue Beetles.

Hey, there's a complete list of Latino superheroes! That works...

Not that I know of, thats one of my concerns with the DC universe, the "Affirmative Action" hero is the worse though. It doesn't bother me that they don't include heroes of color, as long as these heroes have depth and are actually created for sincere purposes. There is a show that comes on adult swim called "minoriteam" it is just one big parody of the whole 70's supercolored friends. The show has a mexican hero, but it is to be expected that him along with the other characters are stereotypical in nature.
