Most experts suggest waiting until you are done growing before starting to lift weights seriously but consider body weight exercises safe (push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups etc). So stick with body-weight exercises for now and remember to do a variety of exercises (so that all your muscles get worked), rest 1-2 days between workouts and push yourself to do a little each time you work out and you will be bigger and stronger than most of your friends.

No, simple exercise will not stunt your growth. Taking steroids will stunt your growth and cause many many problems. many young men lift weights as well as do push ups and sit ups as long as you dont go crazy and start working out 24 hours a day, your muscles will grow heathily and not stunt your growth! its good for you to exercise, just not to an extreme amount while you are still growing!!

No. Push-ups and sit-ups do not stunt your growth. As far as weight lifting, it will not stunt your growth as long as your not doing too much to fast.

Not at all: I began lifting weights after reading some magazine when i was 12, and i really didnt know what i was doing, so i would watch people, and copy them, until i found my own 'groove'.
