i need to know where to locate the starter in my 1998 mazda protoge i can't find it\?

located on the back of the motor under the intake manifold you go at it from underneath. If I remember you do not have to remove the axle.

im not sure where exactly but its easy to find,start from your battery,just follow your negative cable,take you right to your starter,probally back side of motor,sorry im not 100%sure where its located but follow your negative cable,you will find it,promise you,hope this makes finding your starter a little more easy to find
