Our rabbit is sociable and wants to play with the cat, but the cat is a big wimp who is petrified of Bun-Bun. I try to let them play together, but it always ends with the cat jumping up on her post (no matter what tactics I've used to introduce them to get accustomed to each other - that's just how the old cat is). The rabbit isn't really afraid of the dogs either, but keep an eye out since even domestic dogs still have a little wolf instinct down in them and may want to play "the fox and the hound" w/your bunny. Guinea pigs and other rabbits are often a good companion with rabbits.

I have 6 cats and two rabbits. The rabbits have a very large run built for them in the garden, they have their hutches and toys in there. In cold weather they move into a heated summerhouse. When we first brought them in to introduce them to our other pets we held them whilst the dogs were in the same room (and the cats), it soon becomes clear which of the cats or dogs might want to annoy (or worse), the rabbits. We never leave the rabbits alone with the other pets because cats and dogs are not stupid! If we were to leave the room it is quite possible that our other animals sieze the moment and take the rabbit.
So I can have cats, dogs etc. with our rabbits but I have to be very organized and watchful!
It's also a good idea to get a feisty rabbit who is not nervous.

How to care for an animal in particular is self-explanatory. You can have many different pets in one house, just keep the rabbit in your room or away from the other animals.
