The book has some really good parts in it which if not included might put the film down a bit.
Plus Emma Watson said she might not do another film and without her the whole HP movie franchise is ruined.

I think the films are going to decline from this point on. The simple reason is that you can't possibly fit 800+ pages of HP into a three hour film.

Alot of the book's central aspects have already been axed.

We haven't even seen a sign of Peeves at all. I had hoped to see him in Prisoner of Azkaban, when he was laughing at Black's attack on The Fat Lady.

The films do prove one simple point. Nothing beats reading a book.

I don't think the HP movie franchise did/is doing a good job. I mean there were many important parts in GOF that they left out specially the last chapter of the book. But again we have to face that 3 hrs is really short time to cover the whole story.
I hope Order of Phoneix is good and they show the cruelty of Umbridge. I hate that lady more than I hate Voldemort.

They have all been wonderful as have the books. I have no doubt the newest will be as well.
They do miss certain things from the books, especially in the later ones. There are many important things that need to be mentioned in the move; although I know they have to cut down for time. I'm curious to see how they fit everything in.
I really would've liked to see the Weasley's visit to the Dursley's and Dudley's experience with the Ton-tongue toffee. (beginning of 4th book) I was really looking forward to seeing that. But...still loved the movie.

The books are so much better then the movies it is hard to say. I sympothize with the directors having limited time but so much is being lost. There is the opportunity for lots of action and a little romance in this one..but if they can pull it off it should definately be as good or better!

I think the new HP film will be a little bit slower than the others, as the exciting parts don't happen until the end of the storyline. But, like all of the other movies, it will be great.

Saw some clips and interviews from the new film. Looks great. Some great new cast members (Imelda Staunton for one). Lots of great new 'creatures' including Hagrid's giant half brother and Kreacher the nasty elf. Plus the actors still look great and the director and producer have promised the most ambitious action scenes yet! I can't wait!

The 3rd one was the only good one, and I think this one will be great, as well as the 6th. But I thin kwhenever they make the final one, it will not be very good, sadly.
