we are being swarmed with butterflys like never before, hundreds of them. whats going on ?

I've noticed that too. I'm in Dallas area....are you? Maybe the weather has somehow changed the migration paths or something. It's been an unusual year thus far, climate-wise anyway. Might be affecting the butterflies too.

There is an annual migration of butterflies during the spring (northward) and fall (southward), just as birds migrate in the same seasons.

annual migration paths have started, the butterflies leave right after the hummers....fall is in the air! :) Keep looking up!
