The Renault/Nissan thing is off. They're talking to Ford.

i think ford +gm would be a great merger think about a camarostang-lol ---- no really they both have deep pockets--need to try to stop toyota- no.s 2&3 in the world -gang up to beat no 1 c ya

I did not realize GM and Nissan split on partnerships, man I've been out of the game for so long (I used to work for the GM and Nissan). It would seem strange to me that GM and Ford would partner up since Ford was partnered with Toyota last I knew, plus they have this HUGE rivally. I wouldn't put it past them though. I don't really think they should partner up with anyone though, lowers thier competition. They would be good with either Ford or Pontiac though I guess.

Less competition means more costs incurred by consumers.
