I've been under the impression that they make a pretty decent amount of money for however many sessions they assist with. But "decent" varies...I've never had the oppurtunity to take a class like that and ask a model because the classes are so expensive for high school students! (at least they are here in Detroit at CCS) So, I suppose they get paid pretty much okay if the classes are so expensive; they're the main "tool".

In Belgium at the art academy I attend, they make just under 11 euros per hour (about $13), BEFORE taxes. They usually model anywhere from four to 12 hours a week.

The models at my college got paid $10 an hour, how ever they only worked five hours ever other weekday.

Last I remember, they were around $10-14/hr. I think they all went through some sort of agency or company that coordinated with schools.
