Kobe has a good shot at what? If you mean MVP, I think he has a decent shot and if he leads the Lakers past the 2nd round of playoffs.
As far as winning the championship, it is doubtful. Dallas and San Antonio have a a lot more experience than the Lakers and are favorites for the Western Conference. As for the Eastern Conference, I think the Heat will still get to the Finals. Detroit is weakened and Chicago although improved..I feel they do not have enough experience.

I think more teams will fear the Lakers after what they did last year and those two shots Kobe made in game 4. They will probably win 50 and might make the Western Conference Finals or even the Finals if Kobe steps up again and the new guys hit open jumpers and Kwame plays harder.

Kobe has a shot at the MVP the Lakers need to look at the Bulls in the Jordan-Pippen era and find players that complement Kobe like the Bulls did MJ and Pip. They have Kobe and Odom and Phil Jackson, now they need the rest. Miami Heat repeat I said it and I mean it.

kobe has a good shot. he doesnt pass so he keeps shooting. His team, which he thinks that he is the only player wont win much. WHY?? do you think any other High Caliber players want to play with a guy that wont pass??? NOPE> because of Kobe, the lakers SUCK>

His team sucks too much for him to downplay his ball hogging role. Hate him or like him, he is so damn good that he gives his Lakers a chance to be where they go.
