Go to the Insert menu and select Symbols. Click on the Symbols tab. On the subset dropdown menu, select Latin-1. You will find the upside down exclamation point in the 1st column, 3rd row. The upside down question mark is in the second to the last column, bottom row. If they aren't popping up in these positions, move the scroll bar until you see them. There is lots from which to choose.

In WORD, select insert>symbol>special characters. Then, if it's something you use a lot, you can assign it to control+key...so, for example, control+1 is always upside down exclamation point.

For the exclamation point hold down the ALT key and type 0161 with the number pad (not the numbers above the normal keys)
When you release ALT it will appear
¡

For the question mark do the same thing except with number 0191
¿

This works in basically all applications.

change your keyboard to spanish by going on to control panel, language options, add other languages + so on. u can get the language bar to go onto your toolbar to make this easier to do another time. nb this will make some of the keys different you will have to experiment to find what you want but the letters are all the same
