She SHOULD be allowed to "try out" for the team just like all the boys. A little fact for you - In 2004 (I'm about 80% sure of the year) there was a girl (15 or 16 yrs old) who tried out for her high school baseball team as a pitcher. I think it was in Maryland or Jersey. She made the team and it might have been the first game she pitched -if not, it was during the season - she pitched a "PERFECT" game. Bless her for her perseverance, training, natural skill, drive, desire, supportive parents and the realization that anyone CAN do anything with if you put your mind to it.

Probably not...but, if you made a big enough stink about it, threatened to take someone to court over it...they might allow it.

The question is, would they allow a guy to play HS girl's softball? It would not be fair, if the guy was any good. Same in baseball...even if the girl was a good player, would a girl really want to dig in with a pitcher throwing 90 mph? Would a girl want to slide to break up a double play...or get hit with a pitch so their team could get a runner on base.

Not saying women can't do it...but most men can't play the sport well...More power to a woman who is good enough to hang in there. I would love to see a woman take one in the back for the team. (get hit with a pitch) Better yet, I would love to see a woman charge the mound & kick some guy's ***!

If a girl is good enough to play baseball on a so called boys team
she should be allowed. One thing I was curious in seeing is the
best Women's Basketball Team against the Worst Men's Team.
I think the women might just win.

Because of Title IX, girls are allowed to play whatever sport they want to in Missouri. I bet you can find a similar provision in your state if you are not from Missouri. They cannot say that just because girls have softball they can't play baseball.

Yes, if she was good enough, then she should be able to play baseball. Women have played college football.

But, it may require a lawsuit to force the issue.

The answer is about 95% no. You would have to really fight to try to get on the team. First off, you would have to prove you are better than the boys and then prove that (if they say no, which they will unless you are Hank Aaron good) they are denying you your civil rights. Good luck to you.

Sure.. Try out first!
Same thing with all other boys sports. Try out and if you can beat out others for the desired position you'll get on the team.
