Books and Television.
I live in the USA and there is no difference (variety) across this highly merchandised land. Its not worth all the headaches of packing, unpacking to go somewhere that in the end is just like home.
Planes are way too much of a hassle anymore, though if you want to experience other cultures they are probably the only way to go. Boats are option #2, but also involve a lot of travel hassles.

To Where?
Car-traveling in the United States, can stop when I want.
Boat-traveling to another country then getting a car to see the sights.

until now my favorite has been car, but I haven't tried a plane yet, a boat can also be good, as long as it keeps me away from the real world, our world.

CAR because you get to more of the world and can stop whenever you want to. And in some cases you get to meet more people. If you are up for that. It is more tiring then flying but you do get to see more.

plane if I'm in hurry train if i want to see country car if i want to see sights foot if i go around block bike if i want to go around neighborhood boat if i want to see ocean horse if i want to go on trail

i like both plane and foot. I like walking especially when I'm wit my friends cuz we just laugh and jack like that, and by plane cuz i get to see the sunset and all that, omygosh i luv it

Car.. well just coz i can listen to music also while driving !..
second choice wud be bike.. coz its thrilling !..
and third wud be plane.. coz its luxurious !
