In the Virginia Highland area there are two great restaurants right beside each other in a nice neighborhood setting, Fritti and Sotto Sotto (they are on North Highland Ave), then close to Oakland Cemetary is a great southwest food place called Agave (on Boulevard), which of course has lots of types of tequilla and great fresh food, they have an upper dining balcony area with only a few tables that looks down over the remainder of the restaurant, a table up there is secluded and romantic. From the outside patio of Fritti you can see a bit of the skyline in the distance which adds a romantic touch.

We have also liked Veni Vidi Vici in midtown for great Italian, and Pricci in buckhead, also Italian with awesome deserts!

And for a delicious breakfast the next morning, try Thumbs Up Diner in the MLK historic area, I think it is on Edgewood ave, great yummy omelets after a long night out! (I think they only take cash). Happy Dining!

p.s. I'm not one to recommend meat places (since I don't eat it), but if you do go to Fogo de Chao (which someone else mentioned), after dinner you should have a drink and catch a little jazz at a very cool bar right next door called Beluga, fun, smoky, jazzy, cool! (Piedmont Ave.)

Depends on how much you're willing to spend and what you want to eat. Buckhead has a great variety. My all time favorite was Cherry (primarily Sushi). Spice is great...used to know one of the Chefs. Eclipse de Luna is totally fun! Great atmosphere...it's a Tapas Bar and you can sit on couches and get cozy while munching. Pick up an issue of Jezebel's Top 100 Restaurants if they're out still.
