I completely gave up soda that I was drinking about a 12 pack a day, followed the special K diet to the letter ( skim milk and all ick), did a 45 minute work out every other day, drink lots of water. I lost 5 pounds the first week and am still dropping it. Lost 17 in 4 weeks.

Find ways to fit activity into your day: walk to school, jog up and down the stairs a couple of times before your morning shower, turn off the tube and help your parents in the garden, or take a stroll past your crush's house - anything that gets you moving. Your goal should be to work up to 1 hour of exercise each day. It's fine to start out by simply taking a few turns around the block before bed and building up your levels of fitness gradually.
Drink lots of water. Water keeps us cool, lubricates our joints and flushes toxins from our bodies.

I have read all you have to do is watch what you eat. make sure that you take in lots of protein and have a healthy balanced diet if you are really commited than eat lots of vegetables and salads ...no junk food... only healthy things. next make sure that you exercise an hour everyday it helps not only to loose weight but to stay fit and to speed up your metabolisim to help digest food better drink lots of water to keep you hydrated

Cut out the sodas and other sugary items. Eat smaller portions for breakfast and lunch and eat only salad w/fat free dressing for dinner. The pounds will come off............safely.

I cut processed sugar out of my diet..drink lots of waters..plus low fat yogurt helps...dont drink any carbonated beverages they have too much sugar
